How it All Began…

Bobby Hynes & Sons is a local family business established 50 years ago when Bobby Hynes bought a single cylinder Steyr tractor with a mid-mounted mower and with a lot of hard work, he and his wife Olive started off a contracting business.

With a combination of hard work, honesty and commitment to the farmers Bobby and Olive built a very successful business. They were very lucky with the support shown to them by the local farming community and this is what contributes to a very successful business today.

Sadly Bobby passed away in 2008 after a very short illness, leaving his heartbroken family and thousands of his agricultural friends in a state of shock. He touched the hearts of all who met him and was a highly respected Gentleman. He truly left a great legacy behind him and a hard work ethic. The business is now carried on by his sons and grandchildren and a wonderful team of dedicated and diligent staff. Bobby Hynes and sons have a wide range of plant and farm machinery to serve the needs of our customers. We aim to offer a quick and efficient service and  provide value for money for all our customers.
